This will be our first visit to Disney World and we'll be traveling with a 3yr old boy & a almost 6yo girl, for 7nts in early Dec. Should we stay in a 1BD at OKW or a standard room at POFQ? Are full kitch & separate sleep areas a big plus (for nap

    Hi Dorothy,

I'm a huge fan of the one bedroom villas at Disney Vacation Club resorts.  Having private laundry facilities at your disposal is a nice bonus, especially when you are traveling with children.  You can pack less clothing if you know you can run a quick load of laundry through during your stay.  That's great particularly if you are flying to Walt Disney World.  Less luggage means less baggage fees.  Yeah!

Having a separate sleeping area for the kids is a nice treat for the adults too.  Then, when your little ones drift off to sleep, the adults can watch television or chat without disturbing them.

If it is within your budget, I'd definitely opt for the one bedroom villa at Disney's Old Key West Resort.  The spacious floor plan and amenities at this resort make it an excellent choice.

Wishing you a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
