Hi Chad,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!
I’m absolutely thrilled to hear that you’re planning your family’s first visit to Walt Disney World Resort. I’m glad to hear that you’re already planning to end one of your Disney Days at Magic Kingdom Park with one of my all-time favourite fireworks spectaculars,
Happily Ever After. There truly is something awe inspiring and, well, magical about that show and its music, which never fail to give me goosebumps, even though I’ve seen it several times.
I’m happy to say that fireworks are often the way that
Magic Kingdom Park closes out its day so, even if the Park is scheduled to close at 9:00 but Happily Ever After will also be shown at that time, you’ll absolutely be able to see the show! Once it’s done, however, you won’t be able to experience any attractions but several of the shopping locations along Main Street U.S.A. on your way out (including the
Emporium) are open up to an hour after the Park closes.
I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect Disney Day for you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions - we love helping Guests plan a “First Visit” that is practically perfect in every way!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
