This will be my first visit to Disney World (April 2022, Epcot) so if I buy merchandise throughout my day, where do I put these items when I go on a ride?

Hi Michelle! Welcome back to planDisney.

Oh Boy! Your very first visit to EPCOT during The World's Most Magical Celebration is a just few short days away! Upon entering the park, stop by Guest Relations and ask for a complimentary "My First Visit" button. Oftentimes, some extra Pixie Dust and Welcome Wishes will be bestowed upon you throughout the day! As part of the 18-month celebration, enjoy specialty-themed treats found in the 50th Anniversary Celebration Sips and Bites Guide. Exclusively at Sunshine Seasons, you can find a Mini Chocolate Bundt Cake or a Lemon Chiffon.

Hakuna Matata! In most cases, unless you really plan on shopping till you drop, you will have plenty of space to store items at attractions. I do recommend for the ease of enjoying your theme park day, to delay big purchases until closer to your departure. However, near the Camera Center and International Gateway, there are lockers available for rent should you feel it necessary to store any items.

Did you know your visit is during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival? Grab yourself a fresh culinary delight at one of the outdoor kitchens while strolling the park admiring the beautiful flower displays and living topiaries. Last week, my favorite was the Spicy Hot Dog with Pineapple Chutney and Plantain Chips from the Pineapple Promenade near Port of Entry.

Stay until the sun goes down and Spaceship Earth comes to shimmering EARidescent life during Beacons of Magic. Finish your night enjoying the all-new nighttime spectacular Harmonious in World Showcase.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
