This our first visit to Disney! At the time we will arrive at Disney our child will be 3. When purchasing tickets do I need to purchase them for the age she is now or the age she is will be?

    Hi Sarah,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.  What a great age to bring your child to the "Most Magical Place on Earth", I am sure you are going to make some wonderful memories together.  There is nothing more incredible than seeing the magic of Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of your child for the first time.

When purchasing Theme Park Tickets, use the age that your child will be the first time they enter into a Theme Park.  If your child will be three when they walk through the turnstiles, they will need a Theme Park Ticket, as well as a Theme Park Reservation.  On the other hand, if your child will be two when first entering a Theme Park, no Theme Park Ticket or Theme Park Ticket will be required.

Before your visit check out all of the wonderful experiences available for young children at Walt Disney World Resort.  There are so many family friendly attractions that will make your child's first visit unforgettable!

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Sarah.  If you have any other questions please come back to planDisney, we are always happy to help.

    ~Stephanie
