First visit to Disney for my kids the first week of June 2014-staying at POR Royal Rooms. I just read that it will be difficult to make breakfast reservations at other resorts (ie. 'Ohana) on time because of the location. Should we plan to drive? TIA!

    Hi there, Laurel!

I am so happy to hear that you are planning your first family trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!  As a Disney resort hotel guest, you have lots of Disney transportation options available to you.  You may have to transfer in some instances, but you will get there nonetheless.  For example, let me give you a route to Disney's Polynesian Resort (for 'Ohana) from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.  You can hop a bus from your resort to Magic Kingdom Park.  From there you have more options.  You can either take the monorail to the Polynesian, or catch a boat.   Not including potential wait times for transportation to arrive, your trip should take around 40-45 minutes.  If you need more help with routing, feel free to write back to me after you have made your dining reservations.  I am happy to help!

Until then, I wish you a truly magical vacation.
