Howdy, David, and congratulations on your first visit to the Disneyland Resort!
Be sure to stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park, or Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park, for a special complimentary “1st Visit” button for your whole family. Cast Members love welcoming you on your first visit!
Next, I recommend getting familiar with the
Baby Care Centers, located inside both parks. These Centers are the perfect spot to feed, change, or simply take a break. Be sure to ask for a complimentary Mickey Mouse sticker on your way out!
You can research attractions ahead of time by checking out
this handy guide, which includes a filter by height. As a mom of three children ages 3, 5, and 7, I understand how difficult it can be to find an attraction that pleases everyone, but, I promise, it can be done! Some of our favorite attractions to ride together include Toy Story Midway Mania!, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, “it’s a small world”, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mad Tea Party, and The Disneyland Railroad. We also love taking a break and watching shows and parades, like Disney Junior Dance Party!, Mickey and the Magical Map, Storytelling at Royal Theatre, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade, and Mickey’s Mix Magic.
Lastly, I recommend
downloading the Disneyland app, which allows you to check wait times, find favorite Characters, utilize Disney MaxPass, and even order food and drinks ahead of time, which is a game-changer with younger Mouseketeers!
Wishing you a magical first visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
