First Visit 02/28-03/04 andtrying to plan my days so I can book our dinners. I have a 3 & 5 yr old. Can I do AK on our last day if we have a 5:45 flight or should I do Epcot since there is less for the kids and save a full day for AK?

    Hi Sheri,

This answer is really dependent on which panelist is answering your question.  There are some panelists who could spend days and days at Animal Kingdom - I'm not one of them.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the park.  However, our family typically only spends one day there, and it's usually a short day.  We make sure we get to the park when it opens, and we're done by lunch time, or a little after.

Epcot, on the other hand, is a park we visit multiple times.  My kids have always loved that park!  I think it's surprisingly deceptive just how much there is to do for little ones: The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Living with the Land, Journey Into Imagination, Spaceship Earth, Innoventions, etc.  They even like touring the World Showcase.

Basically, I like your idea of giving Epcot a full day and saving Animal Kingdom for the last day.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
