Hello, this will be our first vacation at WDW. We have 3 kids (age 3, 6, 8). We are staying at Port Orleans-Riverside. Which part of the resort would you recommend staying at? Do the rooms have a small fridge? Any other tips to make our stay easier? Thanks

Congratulations, Kalina, you’re coming to The Place Where Dreams Come True!

Port Orleans ResortRiverside is a wonderful choice of accommodations. If you enjoy a cozy, backwoods setting, then the Alligator Bayou is perfect, and if you prefer regal splendour, then the Royal Guest Rooms in the stately white-column mansions of Magnolia Bend are for you. I particularly enjoy the proximity of Preferred Rooms for ease of reaching the Sassagoula Steamboat Company. Rest assured, your Guest Room will offer many amenities, including a mini-refrigerator. No matter your choice of section, you will enjoy many convenient benefits and magical experiences during your stay as a Disney Resort hotel Guest.

To make your stay and over-all vacation easier, I would recommend building a pre-paid, inclusive Magic Your Way Vacation Package containing Disney Resort hotel, Theme Park Tickets, and the option to add one of our Disney Dining Plans.

As well, our Planning for Kids resource containing helpful tips for Best Day Ever experiences, suggestions for suitable attractions, sample Theme Park Itineraries may be of interest to you.

I thank you for consulting us, Kalina, and would welcome the opportunity to be of any further assistance again soon.

    Magically yours,
    Jacqueline
