For our first (upcoming) trip to WDW, I made dinner reservations at the Crystal Palce. The reservation confirmation said our party of 4 may not be seated together. What does that mean?

    Hi Ginger!!!

Thank you for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!!  Congratulations on your upcoming first trip!!!!

This is a pretty common disclaimer that some Disney Restaurants give when you make an Advance Dining Reservation.  Often times, depending on the particular restaurant, there may be various table arrangements.  Because of this, Disney will give the disclaimer that your party may not be able to be seated together.  If, for some reason, you aren't, then you will be very close to the rest of your party, if not right next to them.

With a party of four, I would have a hard time believing they would separate you.  This disclaimer is usually only made to larger parties.  You may have booked one of the last dining times at the Crystal Palace and the table arrangements that were left may lend itself to having two tables of two.

When you check in I would definitely ask if you could be put together.  Even if it means you would have to wait a few extra minutes, it would be worth it!!

I hope you have a magical trip!!
