Hello, First tripto DW. 2 adults, & our 3 sons. Ages 11,5,3. We are planning on stayint Jue 29th - July 5th but were discouraged by a friend who said wait was about 3 hours for every ride and so packed it was miserable. Is this true?

Hey Angie.  I have actually been the week of July 4th and never waited in line for three hours.  Now I have waited for 90 minutes before and one time close to two hours, but never longer than that.  And that was actually on a February trip and not our July trip.  Remember that for the more popular attractions you can take advantage of the fast pass system.  These will save you some time in waiting in line, but grab them early as the most popular attractions will often times run out of passes.
Also get to the parks as early as you can and hit the most popular attractions first.  I have always found that arriving in a park as soon as it opens really helps when wanting to tackle those that often times have long wait lines.  A few that will have long lines include Dumbo, Peter Pan's Flight, Toy Story Mania and any of the big attractions like Rock N Roller Coaster, Splash Mountain and Everest.  Tower of Terror lines generally move pretty fast.
I truly believe you will be fine.  Just remember at WDW and if you have to wait in a line, at least you are doing it at the most magical place around.  I hope your first visit is an incredible one, and thanks so much for coming to the Mom's Panel.
