This is our first trip, & we'd like to have a late breakfast at Mickey Cafe.We made 11:20 am reservations, but since the hour is so close to lunch, I wanted to make sure we're still in the breakfast crowd, even if we are seated after 11:20. Please advi

    Jose:

I'm assuming that we're talking about Chef Mickey's.

Chef Mickey's doesn't serve lunch, so breakfast fare is guaranteed--and boy, you won't be disappointed! I can taste the syrup dripping off the Mickey waffles right now!

I usually make our reservations for a late seating because I like to arrive early at the Magic Kingdom and hop on the monorail for the quick trip to the Contemporary to take care of breakfast AND lunch.  But on our last visit, I noticed another advantage of our late seating: more time with Mickey and the gang!  As the restaurant cleared out the earlier seatings, those tables weren't filled with more guests!  This meant more time for my family with Mickey and Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as they had fewer tables to visit.  Plus, the restaurant was not as loud as when we had arrived...perfect for parents on sensory overload.

Wishing y'all a magical vacation and a filling breakfast!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
