It's our first trip to WDW and I am staying at the Disney's Coronado Springs Resort with my husband and 2 kids. Should I check in online prior to my departure or should I wait until I arrive at the resort to check in. Any tips for this resort. Thanks!

    Hi Lisa,

Congratulations on your upcoming trip!  I love Coronado Springs Resort.  In fact, I am counting the days until my family checks in for an upcoming trip!  The resort is so picturesque, and is centered around a beautiful lake that makes the perfect backdrop for a morning or evening stroll.  Maya Grille is a fantastic sit-down restaurant that is a wonderful venue for a casual meal after a day in the parks, and The Pepper Market is the best quick service spot in all of Disney (in my humble opinion, of course!)  The main "Dig Site" pool is incredibly themed, with a huge pyramid slide, and is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

As for checking in, I recommend going ahead and doing it online before you arrive.  I have two reasons for this.  One is that it will expedite your arrival process and enable you to hit the parks (or wherever your first day vacation plans take you) faster.  The second is less practical, but just as important.  Checking in ahead of time makes my kids (and their mom too) feel like their vacation is really starting, and increases our overall excitement a few notches!

    Have a magical trip!
