Hello, Jennifer
You may want to take a look at www.touringplans.com, which has a wealth of information to help you with planning and make you feel less overwhelmed. For example, it offers suggestions on what parks to visit and what parks to avoid on specific dates. It also has over 100 itineraries that walk you through the must-see attractions and in an order to help you avoid waiting in line. The website truly does all the work for you. I should note that there is a small fee, but one that I think is a worthwhile investment.
Take a look at the website and if you'd prefer to go a different direction with planning, please let us know.
You can also look over the menus of the quick service restaurants in advance to know which ones your family would like best. Many menus are available at www.disneyfoodblog.com; just click on
Best Disney World Restaurants at the top; the available restaurants can be seen in the information about the
Disney Dining Plan.
Please let us know if we can help again; we've all been there with planning a first trip and how overwhelming that can be.
Wishing you a wonderful trip!
