Hello. First trip to WDW (Oct 11th to 17th.), booked ASMovies and DPP. Will we be able to have a Toy Story "themed" room if we book the preffered room? Is there a place we could have breakfast or we should go to another hotel restaurant?

    Hello Eduardo-
Your first trip to Walt Disney World...prepare to have an amazing time!

If you book at the All Star Movies resort, there are some 'preferred' rooms in the 'Toy Story' buildings.  However, when you make your reservations, you should put in your request for the 'Toy Story' section because there are also preferred rooms in the 'Fantasia' and the '101 Dalmatians' buildings.  Requesting your preference does not guarantee that you will get that building.  I sometimes call a few days in advance of my arrival to re-confirm my request (although again, that does not guarantee you will get it).  Room locations are only confirmed at check-in time, so mention it again when you check in.  They will do their best to take your request into consideration.

There is a food court in the main building (which is named 'Cinema Hall').  There is everything you could want there for breakfast, from a full hot breakfast (eggs, pancakes, etc) to cold items (muffins, cereals, fruit, milk etc).  Our family has always found everything we could want at the Cinema Hall food court. As this is a food court and not a sit-down restaurant, you will pick up your food at the counters and then find a table.  If you do want a sit-down restaurant, there are some at other resorts and some at the theme parks.  By clicking this link you will find many restaurant options to chose from. I would also recommend that if you want a sit-down restaurant, you should make reservations (by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463) 180 days from the day you would like to be at that restaurant as many places sell out early.

Eduardo, have a magical family time together!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
