First trip to WDW and not sure about travel time within the resort. We have 11:30 resv. at Whispering Cny. @ WL & 2:30 resv. for Wild Africa Trek @ AK . Do you think this is doable without to much rushing? I know they are at opposite ends of the res

    Hello Lisa!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  In my opinion, the Wild Africa Trek is an outstanding Disney experience like no other.  I am so excited that you have chosen to partake in this safari adventure at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.  Carefully go over your arrival instructions. You will be asked to report ahead of the time your trek is scheduled to take place.  You can easily experience a nice meal at Whispering Canyon Cafe within an hour. Be sure to check in for your meal at least 10 minutes in advance of your reservation.  To get from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to Animal Kingdom, there is direct Disney bus transportation to the park.  Hop on the bus marked for Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Keep in mind that DIsney recommends at least a good hour and a half travel time between destinations on Disney property.  Once you board the bus, however, your travel time should just be around a half hour.  Plan to be waiting for a bus at least an hour and a half before you need to check-in for the Trek.  From what yo have told me, it seems doable.  Have fun in the "wild!"

I wish you a truly magical vacation.
