This is my first trip to wdw. It will be myself my wife and my 3 sons (6,13,15). We were told to make an iteneary before we go. We will go July 4-8 with parkhopper passes. We have no idea how to start a iteneary. can you help.

Hi Reginald - I definitely recommend making an itinerary before you go, even if it's a rough itinerary.

I'd suggest that you purchase a guidebook or two, and go through them to decide what attractions are "must-dos".  With a short trip, and park hoppers, knowing which attractions you definitely want to see will make things easier.

Here are three books I recommend:
    • The Passporter
    • The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World
    • The Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World
With the age ranges of your sons, all four of the theme parks have attractions that you'd all enjoy.  You'll probably want to be at the parks when they open, to optimize your time.  My family finds that visiting busy attractions first thing in the day or last thing in the day can help minimize waiting.

    Have a great vacation!
