This is the first trip to WDW and I know that we will be spending a large amount of time at the Magic Kingdom and also need to plan some downtime for my 6 year old to rest. With that in mind, what are the must-see attractions at the other parks for her?

I love nothing more than helping first time visitors to WDW. There is nothing like the anticipation of your first visit to see Mickey Mouse.

The Must See attractions at the other parks will depend partly on whether your 6 year old meets certain  height requirements or enjoys thrill rides.

When my son was 6 his favorite attractions were:

    Animal Kingdom -
    Character Greeting Trails
Festival of the Lion King Show
    Safari
    Primeval Whirl
    Triceratop Spin
    Jammin Jungel parade
Boneyard...and not necessarily in that order! I'm pretty sure the Boneyard playground would have ranked near the top!

    Epcot -
    Spaceship Earth
    Test Track
    Journey into Imagination
    Soarin
    Turtle Talk with Crush
    InnoVentions
    Character greetings in World Showcase
Epcot's KidCot Stations and Passport activities

    Hollywood Studios -
Star Tours (he went on this voyage about 9 times although not all in a row)
    Muppet 3d show
Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground (might have been right up there with Star Tours!)

Of course, your child's interests may be different.

But I hope this helps give you some ideas. Note that my son has been timid with the thrill rides. He hasn't been on Splash Mountain yet. But loves Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain!

    Wishing your daughter magical moments!
