We are going on our first trip to WDW in Dec. 2011 I am not sure how to make our dining reservations? do I need to plan out what park we are going to that day then plan our dining around that? Can you dine at a park you r not going to for that day?

    Hi Jessica!

Wow, it is so exciting that you are going on your first trip to Walt Disney World!  Planning for you dining during your vacation can seem overwhelming especially if it is your first trip, but a few simple steps can help you with your meal planning.

    1. Research the restaurants in Walt Disney World both Quick Service (Fast Food) and Table Service (Sit Down Restaurants) and decide which ones interest you

    2. Look at the Park hours and decide what park that you want to be at on what day of your vacation.  If you have the Park Hopper Option on your Magic Your Way Tickets you can eat at a different Park than you are spending the day in, but keep in mind that you will spend a lot of time traveling between two Parks which will limit your time in either Park

    3. Make a plan on where you want to eat on each day

    4. Make your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR's) 180 days in advance of the first day of your trip by going online to www.disneyparks.com (click on Walt Disney World then Where to Eat and then Make Dining Reservations) or by calling 1-(407) WDW-DINE or 1-(407) 939-3463 to make them by phone.

I hope all of your dreams come true on your first trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
