first trip to wdw in 3 days!! YEA!! I have been watching the forecast and looks like rain for 4 of our days so far..sooo sad! I am prepared with poncos etc, but when it says rain in fla does it really rain all day like it does in Michigan? we need sun!

    Hi Paula,

You must be so excited for your vacation! I know the threat of rain can dampen a vacation, and I wish I could give you a definitive answer. I will tell you that I have only been to Orlando once when rain has dampened my entire vacation. Most of the time rain showers, although they can be heavy, usually pass relatively quickly.  On the plus side, even if it does rain, the temperatures look warm, so you won't have that chilled-to-the-bone feeling. My guess is that your rain ponchos will come in handy, but you'll get to experience some Florida sunshine.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
