Our first trip to WDW is just 12 days and we are so excited!!! First, I have an 11 year old who wants to order off the kids menu instead of the adult menu. Is this possible or does she have to order off the adult menu? (we are on the DDP) Please help!!

Hi, April! Squeee!! 12 days?! You go girl.

Your 11 year old is welcome to order off of any menu she so chooses, including the kids menu. That being said, the Disney Dining Plan price assessed to her person/package is that of an adult. In most instances, ordering off of the kids menu would be cheaper to pay out of pocket than to use an adult dining credit.

You could then use the saved meal credit and enjoy more dining experiences, such as an unplanned brunch, or double up and enjoy a Signature Dining experience.

If that's too much work or you're already locked and loaded on your dining plans, then go with it and have a good time!
