Our first trip to WDW is 10 days away! We have our magic bands already and will be staying at POR. I have checked in online. Do we still need to "check in" at the resort before heading to the parks? Will our Magic Bands be active/working?

    Hi Stacy,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your trip is almost here! Be sure you get some yummy beignets at Port Orleans.

You will need to check in at Port Orleans before heading to a park. Part of the check in process involves adding your credit card and a pin number to your Magic Band so it can be used for charging purchases.

Be sure to let us know if you have any other questions.
I hope you and your family have a magical vacation!
