This is our first trip to WDW. It's a 6day trip and were told not to get a park hopper since it's our first time . We did get the water pass option with our 5 day passes. Will we want to spend the whole day at one park? Can we leavea park and return?

    Hi Michelle!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

Without the Park Hopper option, you will be limited to visiting one theme park each day.  However, you can leave that park for a break and then return to the same park later in the day.  You only need the Park Hopper option if you want to visit a second theme park on the same day.

The Water Park Fun and More option is treated separately from the theme park visits.  So you could go to the Magic Kingdom in the morning, then go to Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon, and then return to the Magic Kingdom in the evening.

Since it is your first trip, I think not getting the Park Hopper is fine.  The theme parks all have a lot to do and you can easily spend more than one day in each park.  The Park Hopper option comes in handy when you absolutely want to do something in another park.  Something that a lot of veteran guests do, for example, is to visit any theme park in the morning and then to hop to Epcot in the evening to enjoy one of the amazing Table Service restaurants there in World Showcase.  To a lot of guests, the dining is just as important as experiencing the attractions.  However, since it is your first time, you probably won't be in a hurry to leave a park for another.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
