On our first trip to WDW I had my Dad's MagicBand linked to my account. For our upcoming trip he created his own account. I am trying to move his MagicBand from one profile to another. Is this possible? Thanks!

    Hi Laura,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.

I’ve had this happen to me before when people who travelled with us for their first visit to Walt Disney World Resort let me control their My Disney Experience profile for that visit… and then wound up heading back themselves without me later on, and needed to control their own account!

Here’s what I would recommend: head to your Family & Friends List send your father an “invitation to connect” to the email address that he used to open his new My Disney Experience account. Once he accepts, he should see that his MagicBand from his previous visit is now linked to his account. If that doesn’t work, or it creates a duplicate profile, then he’s going to need to contact Walt Disney World Resort in order to “untangle” his account.

I hope my answer helps your father use his MagicBand during his upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Lynne
