This is our first trip to WDW. I am concerned about the travel time from the parks to the restaurants. How much time should I allow? Chef Mickey's - coming from HS Hoop Dee Doo Revue - coming from AK 1900 Park Fare - coming from MK Thanks!

Considering the size of the Walt Disney World Resort, Lori, I completely understand your concern.  Hopefully you will rest easier when I give you some estimates as to travel times between the locations you'll be visiting.

To get to the Contemporary (Chef Mickey's) from Hollywood Studios, you should allow about twenty minutes of driving time via Disney bus.  You'll need to allow a bit longer for time it takes waiting for the bus to arrive.

For your trip from Animal Kingdom to Fort Wilderness, allow twenty-five minutes of driving time via Disney bus.  Once you arrive at Fort Wilderness, you'll need to board an internal bus to get you back to Pioneer Hall.  Allow an extra ten minutes for that.  Of course, wait time on the bus to arrive will take a few more minutes as well.

The trip from Magic Kingdom to 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian is the easiest of all.  Hop on the resort monorail and make the loop all the way around.  The trip will take fifteen minutes, but again, do allow some extra time for the monorail to arrive.

I hope those estimates aid in your planning, Lori!
