Hello, This is our first trip to WDW. We will be bringing our 3yo and our 15 month old. We have a sit and stand double stroller, but friends have told us to not bring it because it is more trouble than it is worth. What's your opinion?

    Hi Charles,

First trips to Walt Disney World are extra magical!  Be sure to celebrate yours by picking up some free, "First Visit" pins for your entire family at Guest Relations at whichever park you visit first.

As for what type of stroller to bring, it's largely a matter of personal preference.  If your children are comfortable in a sit and stand model, and in particular, if your three-year-old is comfortable sitting/standing in the back for long periods of time, you should be fine.  I used this model of stroller when my youngest son was two and my oldest was four and it worked fine.  My stroller had a large enough canopy to keep both kids in the shade.  My kids took turns riding in the front versus the back, and seemed to like it.  If your three-year-old still naps, and you think you'll be in the parks during nap time, you might prefer a model with individually reclining seats.  I would also recommend "practicing" folding the stroller.  I found mine to be a bit heavy/clumsy when boarding the buses.  Yours might be easier to handle.

Whichever set of wheels you select, have a wonderful trip!
