Our first trip to WDW begins 7/26/14 at the AoA, hoping to get a reservation for BBB on 7/27 for our 2 granddaughters and I've read to allow an hour travel time to MK, how much "walking time" to get to the castle from the entrance? Love your pane

    Hi there, Janice!

I can tell you are already so excited about your upcoming trip in 2014.  I love that you are already thinking ahead and planning for magical memories!  From your selection of Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, I can see that you've made some excellent plans already.

You are correct.  To be safe, you should allow at least an hour travel time from your resort to Magic Kingdom Park.  You'll want to be sure to have plenty of time to grab a bus, as it's possible that you may have to wait up to 20 minutes if you have just missed one.  Once you are inside Magic Kingdom Park, you can be at Cinderella Castle within 5- 10 minutes if you make a beeline for it!  However, if you want to soak in the atmosphere, it can take longer.  It all depends on your own speed.

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
