This is our first trip to WDW & we will be arriving on 02/01/11, early evening, staying at All Star Movies. I will have two boys, 11 & 12, with me& am wondering what thebest bet is going to be for the 1st evening of our magical vacation.

    Hello Tracey!!!

In just a few days, you will begin your MOST MAGICAL VACATION EVER!  Woo Hoo!

I checked the park schedules for your first evening (2/1/11), and all four Disney theme parks close by 9:00 PM.  If your family will be arriving early evening on 2/1/11, going to a park is not the best use of your time.

I would recommend arriving at Disney's All Star Movies, get checked in to your room, and spend time exploring this really fun resort.  Exploring could include swimming, playing video games in the arcade, and/or eating in the food court.  After the exploration is done, TRY to get to bed early as you begin visiting the parks the next day!!!  YEAH!

If you want a more fast-paced first night, you can also take a bus and experience Downtown Disney the first night!  You all would have a blast looking at all the cool stores and eating at some really cool restaurants!  To find out what Downtown Disney has to offer, click HERE.

I hope this helps in your planning.  If you have other questions, please let me know!

    See You Real Soon!
