This will be our first trip to visit Disneyland. We've always bought the Memory Maker package for WDW but I can't find a similar option for this trip. We did buy Lightning Lane Multi Pass but does that include non-ride photos taken in the parks?

Hey there, hi there, Ed! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you are here!

I am thrilled to hear you are about to embark on your first visit to Disneyland! There definitely are some differences between Walt Disney World and Disneyland. For example, if you are used to Cinderella Castle, you may be surprised by the size of Sleeping Beauty Castle. She may be more petite, but I think she's practically perfect in every way. Don't miss the walkthrough! For photos, Memory Maker is a fantastic option to make sure all of your memories are preserved at Walt Disney World. Since you have Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your visit to Disneyland, you are all set! Lightning Lane Multi Pass includes both ride photos as well as any photos taken with PhotoPass photographers throughout the parks.

Another difference for Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Disneyland is that you will not make your first Lightning Lane selection until you are scanned into the park for the day. No need to worry about choosing it days in advance.

Ed, thanks so much for your question. I hope you all have a fabulous first visit to Disneyland. There is something quite magical about walking down the same Main Street that Walt once did!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
