First trip & trying to get as much in as possible. Debating 4/1 3:15p or 8p ADR at Akershus. Don't want to rush our HS day but may need the break. Since hopping to EP thought we'd try to catch Illuminations. Can you see from Akershus?

    Hi Christina!

It's always an enjoyable challenge to try to squeeze in every bit as much fun as possible into each Walt Disney World vacation!

Princess Storybook Dining at Akerhus in Epcot is a great chance to interact with many of the Disney Princesses. The very regal setting is most enjoyable, however the leaded windows are not well-suited for viewing of IllumiNations. You'd definitely want to arrange your timing such that you can enjoy IllumiNations from an outdoor viewing location. If you arrive at your evening reservation early (7:30/7:45) you may just be able to finish eating in time to pop outside for 9pm and enjoy viewing from the shores of Norway. Alternatively, if you'd rather not rush or risk missing this spectacular nighttime show, I'd suggest you plan for the late lunch/early dinner reservation time you mentioned instead.

I hope you'll visit again if you'd like any further recommendations or assistance to pack as much fun as you can into your upcoming holiday to The Happiest Place On Earth.

Wishing you a Magical time Christina!
