This is the first trip traveling without grandparents, so anticipating the need to take advantage of the rider swap for the bigger roller coaster type rides especially. Is there a list of rides that offer the swap? How does the swap work exactly?

    Hi Amy!

I have been there before and the Rider Switch Service came in handy on more than one occasion during our past vacations to Walt Disney World Resort!

The Rider Swap Service works by allowing the first adult in your party to experience the attraction while the second adult waits with a child that cannot experience the ride. Once the first adult is done, the waiting adult will switch and experience the attraction. This allows everyone to have the same magical experience.

You will want to ask a Cast Member at each attraction for specific information; however, there is a list on the Walt Disney World Resort website that outlines some of the more popular attractions that offer the Rider Switch.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a magical day!
