We have our first trip planned for March 2015. I can see Rapunzel's tower is in Fantasyland...are we able to go inside her tower? Or is it just for looks from the outside? Thanks!

    Hi Stephanie,

How excited you must be for your first trip!  My very first visit to Walt Disney World was in March 19 years ago.  I still love visiting this magical destination in early spring.

How very clever of you to spy the tower from the movie Tangled in Fantasyland.  You cannot go into the actual tower itself, however beneath the tower's rocky waterfall you will find a lovely replica of the village Flynn and Rapunzel visited where you will want to make a stop. The reason you will want to make a stop here is because this spectacularly themed area houses restrooms that are as elaborately decorated on the inside as they are on the outside.  In addition to the restrooms, there is an outside rest area complete with "hidden" charging stations for your portable electronic devices.  The entire area is themed from the movie Tangled and has many hidden details to explore and discover.  For example, there are 10 hidden Pascal statues (Pascal sized of course) to find in the landscaping.  If you want to view more photos of this rest area before your trip, the website All Ears has posted many great photos showcasing its charming details.

Next time you are in the Magic Kingdom and are ready to recharge and use the - ahem - facilities, head over to the Tangled themed rest area and enjoy the fun atmosphere.  Only Disney Imagineers could make a rest area a "must-do" activity!
