This will be our first trip! Would Nov 24-Dec 3 be a good time to visit? We are hoping to stay away from large crowds and are really hoping for a free meal plan. Does this ever happen during late Nov-Early Dec? If not we may stay off resort.

    Hi Kim,

There is a special deal being offered for the Free Disney Dining Plan right now for select packages booked for arrival in 2012 on select nights between August 25 - September 29.  You must book this by May 18, 2012.  For more information, click on this webpage:  Disney World Special Offer.

There is no guarantee that Disney will offer another Free Dining Plan Deal this year, but, it could happen.  I would suggest you continue to check back on the above page often for updates.

As for crowd levels during November 24 - December 3...the first couple of days during that time period usually tend to have heavier crowds, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.  However, the crowds will decrease significantly after those first couple of days, and you will enjoy low to moderate crowd levels in general at that time of year.

As a bonus, it is a gorgeous time to visit, with all of the amazing Christmas decorations!  I hope your plans work out, and you enjoy a magical time at Walt Disney World!
