Boo to You, Daniel! My daughter and I are attending this grim grinning ghost event for our second time at the end of September. We really
enjoy dressing up in costumes and trick-or-treating all around Magic
Kingdom Park together!
One little known fact is that you can
typically enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4pm on the day of your attendance at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
This is due to the fact that although the number of guests are limited
for this special hard ticketed event, it would create some slow down at the entrance
if everyone showed up right at the official party kick off time of 7pm. So my advice is that you consider arriving as close to 4pm as possible so that you can experience
up to 8 hours of time in Magic Kingdom Park for a price that is
less than what a regular admission ticket would cost!
I'd also recommend that everyone in your travel party, including the adults, dress in costume. This really adds to the experience and makes for some wonderful photos as well as cast member and guest compliments throughout the evening.
During the party, you should anticipate a fairly sparse crowd from about 5-7pm as the general admission guests leave for the day, followed by a slight increase in the number of party-goers around 7pm. It is generally best to visit the attractions during the first parade showing and then, plan to watch the second one when the littler ghosts and goblins head home for the night. On average, party attendance is lower in the month of September and increases the closer you get to Halloween with most dates near the end of October selling out entirely weeks before the event.
Wishing you a pixie-dusted trip this Fall! Please feel free to send more questions my way!
