    First trip in May!!! We purchased the ddp, I know this does not come with a refillable mug. Do you think it's a good idea to purchase one, or do you think it's not worth it? Thanks

    Hi Victoria!

    I know you are looking forward to your upcoming trip in May. I am so excited for you! The refillable mugs, in my opinion, are a good purchase.(about $13.00) They seem to be a bit pricey when you first look at it, but here are a few things to consider. If you have coffee drinkers in the family, you can fill up in the mornings before you leave for the parks. You may also fill them with ice on your way out in the mornings so that you have some water for the first couple of hours at the parks. You can fill them up as you relax at the pool area. If you come back to your hotel for breaks in the middle of the day, you can fill them up. How about that late night thirst after a long day at Magic Kingdom? Fill them up then too! The deciding factor should really depend on how much time you will spend at the hotel or other hotels. Remember, the mugs are not refillable at the parks.

     

     The mugs are great souvenirs to have when you get back home to remind you of your trip. They are dish washer safe and the take a good beating. Typically, Walt Disney World does not change the mugs each year. (but they do change periodically), So take them along on your next trip and enjoy free refills without having to make the purchase again, if they have not changed the design.
