First trip May 2015. Kids will be 5, 3, and 1. We have reservations at Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys, Hollywood and Vine play n dine, and Cinderella's royal table. We have 2 table service credits left. Any other dining recommendations for this age group?

    Hi Jenn,

Congratulations on planning our first magical trip to Walt Disney World. I hope that you have so much fun and make so many wonderful memories that you decide to come back again and again.

You have certainly picked some of my favorites. Here are a few other places I would highly recommend. My children always have a blast at Whispering Canyon Cafe in Disney's Wilderness Lodge. There are Lincoln Logs to build while waiting for your table and my sons always love doing this. While this meal is not a character meal, the servers really have fun with the kids with their interaction and activities. I prefer dinner there, but the breakfast and lunch are hearty and delicious, as well.

Another great dining spot is breakfast at 'Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Meet Lilo, Stitch and other pals while dining on some great menu items served family style. The kids can get up and interact with the characters table side as well as fun opportunities to parade around the restaurant. Since this location is on the monorail line, you could zip right over to the Magic Kingdom after your meal.

Lastly, Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom is a yummy spot to try for either breakfast, lunch or dinner.  Donald and friends are there for breakfast and lunch, but the dinner is simply a buffet with no characters, although quite tasty, too. This is one of the few table service restaurants in Disney's Animal Kingdom, so it can be a a very popular restaurant. We have had several amazing meals here and my children often ask to go back time and again.

I hope this helps you. Have fun!
