    First trip 4/26/2009. How long is the Jungle Parada at AK? Will I have time to make Coral Reef ADR at 5:30? What is the best route? Thsnk you so much!

    Hi Susan.   Its going to be a really tight squeeze to see the parade and make you Advance Dining Reservation.    I checked Disney's calendar and the parade at Animal Kingdom is scheduled to start at 4:00 on the day in question.   You can expect the full parade to last about 30 minutes.    From the closest point to the park exit (by the bridge across from the Tree of Life), its a good 10-15 minute walk to the bus area.   Assuming you are not driving, Disney bus transportation to Epcot is your best bet   Based upon my tour guide, this an approximately 25-30 minute bus ride to Epcot.    From where Epcot drops you off to get to the Coral Reef restaurants is another 20 minutes (factoring in that you must go through security and park entry again).

     

    Therefore, even if ALL goes well with no delays in the Disney bus, this puts you real close (if not a bit late) for a 5:30 reservation.    If you schedule permits, I suggest seeing if you can move your dining reservation back at Coral Reef to 6:00.   That extra-half hour should provide you with the extra time needed to arrive in advance of your dining start time.    Hope this helps!
