This is our first trip with both kids being over 3 and having their own fast passes. Do I need to reserve a fast pass to accompany my daughter to meet a princess?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda!

How exciting that your little mouseketeers are visiting for the first time with their own tickets or MagicBands! When my daughter turned three she was so excited to scan her little MagicBand and redeem her own FastPass+. It was like a Disney rite of passage. I bet your littles will be just as excited!

Amanda, for any attraction that offers FastPass+, each guest that will be entering the FP+ queue will have to scan their MagicBand or ticket and have that valid FP+ to enter. So if you are planning any FastPass+ for your daughter to meet her favorite Disney princess, be sure to lock a FastPass+ for any additional guests that will be attending that meet and greet with her.

Here’s one last tip before I go. If you book your FastPass+ for earlier in the day, you will have more opportunity to book additional FP+ throughout the day after you redeem your third pre-booked FastPass+, saving you time so you can enjoy even more of the magic during your visit. And don’t forget to have your My Disney Experience mobile app downloaded and ready to go on your mobile device before you arrive. This app will be the fastest way to book those additional FP+ on the go!

I hope this information was helpful! For any additional question, please don’t hesitate to stop by and bring those our way.

    Have a magical day,
