This is our first trip. It will be my Husband and I along with our two year-old daughter and her Grandmother (60+). We have learned with previous trips that we enjoy ourselves a lot more with a seperate room for our daughter and G-ma. What do you suggest?

Hello Nicole!   I am so excited to hear about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!   On top of that, your daughter will not only get to experience this magical place with Mom and Dad, but with Grandmother as well.  Does it get any better than this?  My boys always love having their Grandparents around and the first thing they ask is if Grandma and Grandpa will have their own room.  Can you guess who they always want to stay with?  We are just like you in that we enjoy having separate rooms.  One, no matter how big the room is, you seem to feel as if you are stepping over people all the time.  Trust me, we have tried it both ways.  Also, having a separate room allows you the comfort of preparing for the next day.  You can have your clothing set out without having your kids running around them OR on top of them.  The morning rush seems a bit more calm and emotions are in check.  My parents enjoy the idea of separate rooms since they tend to return to their rooms much earlier in the evening and we do not have to wake them.  So, I have to agree with you on this one.  My vote is for separate rooms.  You have the whole day to spend together.

I would love to hear about your first trip to Disney.  I know you are going to have such a great experience.  May it be filled with lots of pixie dust.
