    This is our first trip, and I am having the hardest time trying to decide where to stay. We've narrowed it down to Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, or Port Orleans. It will be me, my hubby, and our 7 year old son. Please give us some ino to help us decide.

    I totally understand your dilemma here, because those are ALL amazing Disney Resorts, each with their own unique theme.

    I chose to answer your question specifically because I have two sons, ages 9 and 3 now.  So, I'm going to share my absolute favorite with you based on our family preference - The Wilderness Lodge!

    Yes, I'm biased, because the WL is also our "home resort" - we are members of the Disney Vacation Club.  So, it actually does seem like we are going "home" whenever we visit. 

    Aside from the unbelievable amenities, convenience to the Magic Kingdom, and excellent service you receive there, what we love the most is just the "feel" of it all - the incredibly special ambiance!  You can actually believe that you have been swept away to the great Pacific Northwest, and are at this amazing lodge, your base camp in the wilderness.  All of your adventures will begin and end here while you are visiting Walt Disney World!

    And, one of our all-time favorite restaurants is located at WL - the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  It's not just the great food - it's also the experience.  You have to try it out for yourself, and don't forget to ask for the ketchup and drink refills.

    Now, the Polynesian and Port Orleans each have their own special themes and charm, and we love them both, too, so you really cannot go wrong with your choice here.  I just wanted to let you know, from my heart, based on my family's experience, which Resort we prefer, over and over and over and over!
