Hi, Chelsea!
It is so exciting that you are planning your first magical vacation to Walt Disney World! All the moms (and dads!) here on the panel have certainly "been there, done that!" so come to us with your questions and we will be happy to help.
Let's start with park admission.
Children under the age of 3 are admitted free, so no need for a
park ticket. Now that my kids are teens, I certainly miss those days of free admission! Your little one also stays for no extra cost in your Disney resort room. Make sure to request a complimentary pack and play if needed.
As far as meals go, your daughter will not be charged at buffets, character dining locations, family style dining, or dinner shows. However, if you are at a Table Service location with regular menus or a Quick Service location, then she can either share off your plate for no charge or order her own meal at regular price. Wonderful kids meals are offered at most locations. Most kids meals will be under $10 and include a drink, entrée, side, and some kind of fruit or cookie. Each menu will have different options, so inquire with your server or cast member when ordering.
And just a bit of "mom advice!" Make sure to plan on either bringing a stroller from home or
renting one in the parks even if you do not normally use one at home. There is a lot of walking, and your princess will need a rest for those little legs!
Have fun as you plan your trip!
