First trip to DW with 2 boys 10 & 8 to celebrate their birthdays. Would like to be able to take in fireworks at each park and do not have PH. we have dining reservations Wed. and Thurs at Epcot. Recommendations? Thanks so much!

First trips are especially magical, Stacey.  Your boys are going to have an unforgettable vacation!  Depending upon how long your trip is, you shouldn't have any trouble enjoying the fireworks at each park, even without a park hopper.  Animal Kingdom has a parade--but no fireworks--so you can cross that one off your list.  Make sure you see IllumiNations at Epcot on either the Wednesday or Thursday night that you will be there for dinner.  It begins at nine o'clock and there are plenty of spots around the World Showcase Lagoon to enjoy the show.  Wishes at Magic Kingdom is best viewed in front of the castle, in my opinion; you'll just want to be sure to stake out a spot early as it can get crowded.  Have a great time, Stacey!  And pass on happy birthday wishes to your boys from the Disney Moms.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
