On our first trip to Disneyworld, we rented a private boat with a Captain to tour the lagoon and see the water show and fireworks. I saw it mentioned on the moms panel as a suggestion and now I can't find it ...any suggestions?? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Kathleen!

My family has also enjoyed the wonderful fireworks cruises for either the Magic Kingdom show or Illuminations at Epcot. In fact it is almost the one thing that we must do on every Disney vacation trip.

Disney does continue to offer many different kinds of Specialty Cruises around property. All of the deluxe resorts in the Magic Kingdom area have marinas and offer fireworks and daytime cruises that come with snacks and of course a captain. The boats are limited to ten guests and you can add special foods and drinks from private dining to make it even more special. Fort Wilderness also offers these boats for use.

My favorite cruise is the Illuminations cruise which you take from the Yacht Club marina. It is a relaxed cruise down to Hollywood Studios and then back to anchor underneath the Epcot bridge that connects France with the United Kingdom. It is a great spot to watch my favorite show, Illuminations.

If you would like to book one of these cruises for your next vacation to Disney then just call 407-WDW-PLAY and check for availability.
