    Our first trip to Disney.We just got into Ohana at 8 p.m. on our arrival day. Staying at CS. We are driving from Atlanta so guessing we will arrive around 2-4 p.m. Do you recommend Ohana, downtown Disney, or? that first night? Two 8 yr old boys and 2 adult

    Oh, Jenny, I would definitely plan to enjoy 'Ohana on your first night at Walt Disney World.  This restaurant is situated on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House of Disney's Polynesian Resort.  Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere in the restaurant and the resort in general is enchanting!  Ask for a table near the windows so that you can see Cinderella Castle.  Depending on the fireworks schedule on your day of arrival, you may even be able to see the Wishes fireworks spectacular from 'Ohana.  If, instead, the fireworks are scheduled for 10 pm that night, head out to the beach behind Disney's Polynesian Resort after dinner to watch the show from there.  It is my favorite place in all of Walt Disney World to watch fireworks.  What a magical way to kick off your Walt Disney World vacation!
