Hi first trip to Disneyland. Traveling in May with a 4&5 year old. How many days should we book for days at Disneyland parks? Park hopper passes worth it ?

    Greetings Morgan!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Helping families plan their first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is one of my favorite things! You won't believe the magic that is in store.

The Disneyland Resort is a great destination for short weekend trips or longer, more-relaxed week-long getaways. The proximity of Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, the Downtown Disney District, and Disneyland Resort Hotels makes it extremely accessible to navigate by foot. I would suggest spending two to five days at the Disneyland Resort depending on what your budget allows. We like to do our trips more leisurely while enjoying the amazing pools at the Disneyland Resort Hotels and trying many different restaurants each day, so ideally we like to stay a little longer. We have also found great value in having a Park Hopper Ticket. Since the parks are so close together, its very convenient to go between them throughout the day. Sometimes we may see a Character we need to meet on the Disneyland app at one park while we are at the other or an attraction with a short wait time that we want to take advantage of in the other park.

Know that no matter how long you stay and even if you choose a 1-Park Per Day Ticket, you will have an unforgettable time with your family. Please feel free to come back if you have any other questions as you plan your trip!

    Have a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day!
