I have my first trip to Disneyland Hotel next month. I purchased a hotel and ticket package. I'm not sure how the e ticket package works in relation to Magic Band plus. Will our park admission automatically link to the bands when stickers are issued?

Hey there, hi there, Louise! Welcome back to planDisney. We are so glad you are back with another planning question for us!

I hope you are getting so excited for your upcoming visit to Disneyland. Disneyland Hotel is my favorite hotel on property because it's filled with all kinds of nostalgia of the early years of Disneyland. With a Disneyland Resort Hotel Package, your eTickets will be linked to your MyDisney account 3 days before your arrival. When it comes to MagicBand+, things work a little differently between Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Once your ticket is linked to your account, you will need to download the Disneyland app. In the app, you will be able to link MagicBand+ devices to your account and then assign the MagicBand+ devices to each ticket. The great thing about MagicBand+ at Disneyland is that you can unassign a MagicBand+ from one account and assign it to a different ticket if needed.

At Disneyland Resort, you will be able to use your MagicBand+ to tap into the park and Lightning Lane entrances, link with PhotoPass, as well as enjoy enhanced experiences for certain nighttime spectaculars. During the 70th Celebration, there is even more fun with MagicBand+! Find 5 locations throughout the park to tap for some fun interactions that celebrate opening day attractions.

Louise, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a magical visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!
