    first trip to disney for our 4 year old daughter...we have res. at rain forest for 3:30 will be at the mk then wonder how soon we should leave to get there on time. Staying at the pop century hotel..

    Hi there Bev!  So,  it sounds like you plan to go to Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. That's great!  I understand that you will also be leaving Magic Kingdom Park in order to get to your reservation.   I think it's always a good idea to give yourself an hour for travel time.   You have a couple of good options for getting there.  The easiest routes will be to take either the Monorail or Boat from Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  From there, you should transfer to a bus heading to Animal Kingdom Park.    With that in mind,  I would recommend leaving Magic Kingdom Park no later than 2:30pm, and earlier if you don't mind a little extra time.
