This will be our first trip to Disney w/our children ages 8 and 6. We have the meal plan. We be dining at the Cinderella's Royal table , Chef Mickey and Hawaiian show dinner. Are gratuities included w/the dinner plans? thank you.

    Hi Christine:

Congratulations on your first visit as a family to Walt Disney World Resort! I am happy to hear you have chosen to use the Disney Dining Plan, my family absolutely loves it.  With the Disney Dining Plan, gratuities are typically not included, guests will leave gratuity at the end of the meal, and there are a few suggested amounts at the bottom of your cheque.  Guests are free to leave whatever they feel comfortable leaving, however Disney recommends 18-20%.  There are a few exceptions to this.  First of all, a gratuity of 18% will automatically be added to the cheque of parties of 6 guests or more.

Another exception with gratuities occurs when dining at Cinderella's Royal Table, or any of the Dinner Shows (including Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show), where gratuities are included in the cost of your dining experience.  In other words you will not have to pay gratuities at these dining locations, as they have already been paid.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort Christine.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help.
