This will be our first trip to Disney World and my two boys (2 & 5) love Dinosaurs. I tried to get dinner reservations at T-Rex Cafe, but they seem to be booked. Does this mean that we won't be able to eat there? Is there a way to get on a wait list

    Hi Richelle,

T-Rex is a really fun restaurant, especially if you have dinosaur fans with you.  Because it's so popular, it can be difficult to get a reservation.  While I recommend making back up plans, you still may be able to get a reservation.  An opening may become available even while you're on vacation.  My best advice is to keep checking.  Some guests may cancel, leaving room for you and your family.

Even if you don't dine there, you can still shop in the gift store.  I think your boys would love creating their own stuffed animal at Build-A-Dino. There is also the Paleo Zone where you can go on an archeological dig or pan for treasure.

I hope you are planning to take your boys to Animal Kingdom. They'll love playing in the Boneyard.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
