This is our first trip to Disney World. Is there any place in the resort where we can buy groceries. Specifically, our 3 year old is lactose intolerant, and I would like to have some milk in the room for her.

There is a limited supply of groceries that can be purchased at the resort gift shops.  If you need something specific you might want to consider ordering for delivery from a grocery service. I have used and was very pleased with Garden Grocers and they can be found on line at www.gardengrocer.com.  Their food and drink choices will be far more extensive then you can find in the Disney stores.

Please remember that the value resorts do not have refrigerators in their rooms and the moderate and deluxe refrigerators are very small and can't hold large items.  The cabins at Fort Wilderness and the villas will offer you full size units.
