    First trip to Disney World, me, my husband and 3 YO. Deciding between Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom & Animation suites but don't know how to decide. Main factor seems transportation. Any other advice?? Daughter loves disney esp Nemo & princesse

    Hi Jackie! 

    Wow, you have three awesome Walt Disney World resort choices narrowed down.  Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Art of Animation are so unique and unlike any of the others.  

    Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorites because of the Savannah and of course the beauty in the architecture.  It's pretty cool to see free roaming animals just out your window or out the back doors of the lobby.  This resort is the furthest away from most of the parks, so that definitely is a factor.  A mid-day bus ride from the Magic Kingdom will take a little longer, but only 10-15 minutes usually at the most.  I certainly wouldn't rule this one out.

    Art of Animation is fun, vibrant and is one of two resorts that is character themed.  (All Star Movies is the other)  Your little one will LOVE walking around this resort and seeing the gigantic figures from their favorite movies.  

    Wilderness Lodge hits a sweet spot with me.  The entire grounds are just beautiful and it's right on the lake, so there are tons of extra activities you can participate in like watching the Electrical Water Pageant at night.  One of the biggest perks is being able to board a ferry boat and head right to the Magic Kingdom.  That alone would make my family choose this resort.   

    Transportation aside, you should choose the resort that you think your little one would love the best.  Nemo?  African wildlife?  Complete wilderness?  The choice is yours!
